DECEMBER’S MAGICAL NEWS FROM DISNEY

December with Disney is breathtaking and exciting all at the same time! If you have the opportunity to hop aboard a Disney Cruise or visit one of the parks, please don’t hesitate. It will make Christmas even more magical for you and your family.

My family and I leave in less than a week for our Annual Disney World, and we are so excited to see the gorgeous decorations, sample the holiday treats, and of course, see Mickey and Friends!

This year, Disney World will have their Gingerbread Houses back for everyone to enjoy. At the Grand Floridian, they have a life-sized Gingerbread House with a unique decoration home. Cast members sell holiday treats and beverages right from the window. You can even grab a quick photo in front of the delicious-looking house! At The Beach Club Resort, the Gingerbread & Chocolate Carousel is ba k. This year’s theme is “The Little Mermaid At the American Pavilion in Epcot; you can find a gingerbread version of the Lincoln Memorial, MLK Jr. Memorial, and the American Adventure building. This year, Pastry Chef Michael Craig created a 6-foot tall Ginger-affe out of gingerbread that is on display at The Animal Kingdom Jambo Hous. The detail on this Ginger-affe is fantastic. It is a Disney Must-Do if you will be in Orlando from November to January 1, 2022.

Genie Plus started in Disneyland. As of the first week of December, Genielus had made it to the West Coast. Genie plus costs $20.00 per guest per day in Disneyland. Just like in Disney World, Genie plus allows you to use the Lightning Lanes for several rides, but it doesn’t include all of them. The Individual Attraction Selections also exist in California. Rise of the Resistance is a bit more expensive at $20.00 per person. Radiator Springs Racers is $7.00 per person, and Web Slingers is $7.00 per pers n. The prices are still subject to change based on the time of year and the dem nd. It is like surge pricing with U er. On the weekends, Radiator Springs & Web Slingers have raised to $12.00 per person with the holidays fast approaching, and the crowds increase ng. Disneyland guests can’t start making their Genie Plus and Lightning Lane Selections until they enter the parks, different from Disney World. Standby lines are still available for those that don’t want to pay the additional costs.
