Entertainment on Vacation!

When on vacation, we do not have to suffer from not having any Entertainment. There is always plenty to do and see—this issue I would like to take about the Entertainment at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.

Walt Disney World

As you may know, the nighttime fireworks shows have returned to Magic Kingdom and Epcot! While I couldn't be there in person the first night they were back, I watched the live streams on Youtube, and I am not ashamed to admit that I had all the “feels” and tears streaming down my face! There is just something so incredible about watching Happily Ever After, with the music, the castle projections, Tinkerbell, amid a crowd of people who love it as much as you do.

Disney has also announced that the shows will be returning soon. One Show, in particular, has already returned. If you have not had a chance to see the Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom yet, I highly recommend it. There is still plenty of entertainment at Epcot right now with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. YOu can check out our favorite shows with the Mariachi Cobre, Voices of Liberty, and the America Gardens Bandstand. We can't wait to see more of our favorite shows return, such as Finding Nemo the Musical and The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular.

Universal Studios Orlando

If you’re down the road at Universal, there are many opportunities to be entertained at Universal City Walk, some of which are included with a parking pass. One of those is Rising Star. A unique venue that puts Karaoke to shame. Amateurs can perform for up to 3000 people, with state-of-the-art equipment and a live band to accompany them. It’s definitely not your average “singing bar.” Who knows, you might recognize one of the performers someday! In addition to fireworks, concerts have also returned. If that’s your jam, you’re going to love Hard Rock Live Orlando. A concert venue was known as the “coliseum of rock” hosts a range of musicians from classic rock cover bands to modern-day pop stars like Kesha.

When I’m on vacation, I love to relax, but I also love to be entertained and share that experience with family and friends and everyone else looking to enjoy themselves. If you’re in Orlando, I highly recommend visiting Universal CityWalk. The world is open- let’s get out there and enjoy it!
