Happy New Year! We wish everyone to have a fun, safe, and healthy 2021. If you’re tired of your four walls and itching to get away in 2021, you’re not alone. Recent polls within the travel industry suggest that most Americans will be traveling this coming year. If you plan on visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, pay attention to some changes being implemented by the Walt Disney World Company. Walt Disney has already implemented standard COVID-19 protective measures to ensure all guests' safety. This New Year, we will see two logistical changes, including Magical Extras and Magic Bands.
On January 1, 2021, the Walt Disney World Company will no longer offer complimentary MagicBands to resorts guests with a valid reservation. If you already have an existing resort reservation, the Walt Disney World Travel Company sent out communication regarding their MagicBand service for your upcoming resort stay. The Walt Disney World Company will issue a Key to the World card that can be picked up at your resort's front desk. Just like the MagicBand service, this card will allow the guest access to theme park entry, hotel room entry, and charges for purchases made to your resort hotel room. As always, the guest may decline the Key to the World Card and use a MagicBand from a past trip or purchase a new BagicBand pre-arrival and/or during the guest's resort stay.
Also, beginning on January 1, 2021, the Walt Disney World Company will no longer be mailing Magical Extras and Souvenir Luggage Tags. Guests with a reservation and staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will pick up these items at the front desk anytime during their stay.

Four vouchers for miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland
Four vouchers for the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
