Be Our Guest... in the Bayou!"—All the Dish on Tiana’s Palace Coming to Disneyland

Updated: Aug 25, 2023

Hey there, you fabulous people! Megara here, but you can call me Meg. Got your ears on? Good. Because we’re about to dive into some delectable details about the grand opening of Tiana’s Palace at Disneyland Park. Trust me, this is one place that even Hercules would put down his dumbbells for.

Mark Your Calendars, Darlings!

Alright, listen up, people! Cancel whatever unimportant plans you’ve got for September 7th, because that's when Tiana’s Palace swings open its charming doors. And let me tell you, sweethearts, this isn’t just another eatery. Oh, no. This place is going to be the talk of the town—or should I say, the bayou?

A Culinary Odyssey Worthy of New Orleans

Now, this Palace, nestled all quaint and cozy-like on Orleans Street, isn't your ordinary run-of-the-mill restaurant. Oh, no. We're talking dishes inspired by the Queen of New Orleans herself, Tiana. Imagine gumbo that'll make you wanna dance and beignets as heavenly as the stars. And don’t get me started on the mobile order feature; yep, you can get these scrumptious bites on the fly. No need to consult Dr. Facilier’s voodoo friends on the other side to know that this is THE spot for your next Disneyland visit.

Can You Say, Gumbo?!

For those of you who live and breathe gumbo, you're in for a treat. Tiana's Palace is rolling out options that would make even Hades reconsider his dietary choices. We’ve got plant-based 7 Greens Gumbo, featuring a divine mix of white beans, okra, yams, and sweet potatoes. Feeling carnivorous? There’s also a 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage. But let's not forget the star: the House Gumbo, a soul-soothing blend of braised chicken, andouille sausage, and heirloom rice. Darling, it’s a foodie’s dream.

Spice Up Your Life, or at Least Your Dinner

Want a dish that's spicier than one of my comebacks? Get your taste buds ready for the Cajun Spice Half Chicken. And as for sandwiches, let’s talk Muffuletta and Beef Po-boy. They’ve got everything from mortadella and rosemary ham to slow-cooked beef. Oh, and they're served with red beans and rice and house-made pickles. Talk about a full plate, huh?

For the Kids and Kids-at-Heart

Don’t worry, I haven't forgotten about the little ones. Tiana’s Palace is dishing out meals that'll have your kids begging to stay in Disneyland forever. We've got Roasted Chicken Drumsticks, Toasted Ham & Cheese Sandwiches, and the ultimate classic—Baked Macaroni and Cheese. And let's not forget, they all come with fruit and a choice of beverage. Aww, cute.

"A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes”—or, in This Case, a Dessert

Alright, you dessert fanatics, brace yourselves. No restaurant inspired by "The Princess and the Frog" could be complete without beignets. But these aren't your garden-variety beignets. The House-filled Beignet is bursting with a lemon ice box pie filling and topped with lemon glaze. It’s what dreams are made of, honey.

“Almost There”—Final Sips and Swag

Calling all coffee addicts! You must try the Joffrey's Coffee Chicory Cold Brew. Plus, there’s an adorable glow cube to light up your drink like Evangeline lights up the bayou sky. And for those looking for a little keepsake, there’s the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set—plus, it even comes with a House-filled Beignet. Now that's what I call a full-circle moment.

So, there you have it—your VIP tour of Tiana's Palace. Honestly, with delicious New Orleans cuisine and a sprinkle of Disney magic, how could you resist? I might be skeptical about a lot of things, but this new dining experience is enough to make even a tough gal like me sing a happy tune.

Till next time, sugar! And remember, don’t take any wooden nickels!

Xoxo,

Meg 🌟
